Figure Sculpture Show
August/September 2007
The Figure Sculpture Show was the culmination of more than a year’s worth of work by 12 Studio artists
in the Figure Sculpture class. The all ceramic show included self portraits and figures made from various
students and teachers who sat for the artists. The styles range from realistic to impressionistic.
Included in the showing was a large collabrative bas-relif titled “The Great Supper of Modern Days”. This was created by 6 of the artists in the show and is made up of twelve tiles. It showed a collection of oddball characters sitting along a table.
