Artist Bio
Although he showed occasional hints of figurative work, he was largely only interested in abstract work. Then one day Dale Howard, another artist at The Studio, started working next to Pablo, which had a major unintended influence on Pablo’s work. He started painting landscapes made of a limited repertoire of mountains, clouds and trees. Pablo's work began to resemble Oriental brush painting.
Since then, Pablo’s art has been evolving rapidly. He now incorporates figures regularly into his pictures. Many figures are characters from his favorite movies and he also likes painting fashion models from magazines. His style somewhat resembles Picasso’s but Pablo probably has never seen a Picasso.
